Curriculum

What makes the curriculum distinctive?

The curriculum is written to train students based on educational best practices with a biblical worldview. Students are taught critical thinking skills with a variety of teaching methods.

The curriculum is designed to facilitate a smooth working relationship between the on-campus teacher and parents at home. Students come home having been taught what they need to be successful in completing their homework, but parents can supplement and extend instruction.

The core curriculum is primarily from BJU Press because of its academic rigor, biblical integration, and ease of use for on-campus teaching and at home. The school regularly reviews its effectiveness and makes adjustments. Regardless of the published materials, it is the teachers make skillful use of it and customize it so that students learn best.
